Translation: Le Jardin is French for “The Garden”
Join us as we celebrate our school and the first day of Spring with a walk through a lovely French garden…
What you need to know:
When: Saturday, March 21, 2015
Where: Bobak’s Signature Events, Woodridge, Illinois
Time: 5:30pm to Midnight
Attire: Le Jardin is a classic garden party – Women can wear spring colors - dresses, cocktail attire, or dressy pants (you can even dig up your Laura Ashley florals from long ago!). Men can wear suits, jacket and tie, button down shirts, or spring sweaters with slacks… seersucker encouraged!
What is Auction?
Auction is Saints Peter and Paul School’s largest fundraiser and is the social event of the year. Parents can mingle and reconnect while enjoying a night out without their kids. The evening includes dinner, open bar and the opportunity to bid on exciting items like vacation packages, Chicago sports tickets, and unique treasures made by our students in both live and silent auctions. You may even be the lucky winner of $5,000 cash in our L’Arc de Triomphe Raffle!
“Le Jardin” is French for “The Garden” and is a celebration of spring and the new life it brings after a rough Chicago winter. We invite you to take a stroll through our French Marketplace and stop for a café au lait at our Barista Bar, or if you feel daring, a chilled cocktail from the Martini Ice Chute. Have your portrait painted by our caricature artists at Le Jardin’s Atelier (Art Studio), treat yourself to a pastry at the Bakery, or choose a flower for your sweetheart at the Flower Shop. It’s sure to be a festive night!
This year there will be 2 Raffles at Le Jardin:
L’Arc de Triomphe Raffle - Only 100 tickets sold at $100 each for a chance to win one cash prize of $5,000.
Cash Raffle – There will be 3 winners drawn for $1,000, $750 and $250. Tickets are $10 each or 6 tickets for $50.
Raffle tickets may be purchased by sending back the forms sent home in your student’s backpack, or by ordering online. Visit Le Jardin’s website: www.stpeterandpaulauction.com and click on the tab “Purchase Cash Raffle Tickets.” For Raffle questions, contact Ann Wallin at email@example.com.
Purchasing a sponsorship for Le Jardin is not only an opportunity to support our cause and to invite your friends and family to your table, but also a chance to have some fun with the evening. Our French Marketplace will name its shops after families who choose several of these sponsorships. Imagine your family’s own little Barista Bar or Flower Shop! Sponsorship packages include a variety of combinations of tickets to the auction, wine, raffle tickets, ad space in the auction book and recognition throughout the auction. More than anything, by purchasing a sponsorship, your support will ensure that Saints Peter and Paul School’s auction tradition continues for years to come. For sponsorship details, see the brochure sent home in your student’s backpack, or contact Kathleen Flynn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Le Jardin invitations will go home in your student’s backpack on February 2. Reservations can be made online at the auction’s website, www.stpeterandpaulauction.com beginning Monday, February 2. Feel free to organize a table of your friends (limit of 10 per table) or let the reservations specialists place you at a table with other parents with kids in your grade. It’s a great way to make new friends! For questions, contact Jorie McCoy at email@example.com.
Pick of Live Raffle:
Back by popular demand, Le Jardin will again offer the famous “Pick of Live” Raffle. Buy a raffle ticket ahead of the Auction or the night of the Auction for a chance to be one winner that will get their pick of any of the Live Auction items. Details and raffle sales to come!
Advertising in our Auction Book is a great way to advertise your business or to show your support for Le Jardin. There are many opportunities to participate and take advantage of a captive audience of at least 600! To place an ad, visit Le Jardin’s website, www.stpeterandpaulauction.com or contact Denise Petty at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The success of our auction is dependent on the many donations from our families and community. Be it cash donations, sports tickets, vacation rentals, popular electronics, handmade heirlooms or gift cards, we appreciate your generosity. If you have an item you’d like to donate to Le Jardin, please contact Marie Erbeck at Marie.Erbeck@gmail.com or Tiffani Desrosiers at Tiffanicaroyl@yahoo.com.
